Congratulations to Semira, Annabella and Tyler from the Sisler CREATE Film Program for receiving an IATSE Local 856 scholarship award! Each student received $5,000 to go towards their post-secondary studies in film production.
These scholarships were awarded during Sisler CREATE’s Post-High Film Program’s End of Year Showcase, held earlier this June. As part of a three-year partnership with Sisler CREATE’s post-high program, IATSE 856 is contributing $20,000 annually, with $15,000 dedicated to three student scholarships and the remaining $5,000 supporting student access to industry training, events and conferences throughout the school year.
